Comfy & Cozy Stay

We had such a nice two-night stay! Our room was super comfy and well-decorated. Madeleines waiting for us were a nice touch—especially when the chef brought us warm ones the next day! Dinner in the restaurant was top-notch too. Just a bit noisy in the morning with the breakfast crowd can be heard from the room.

What a lovely little hotel! We snagged a deluxe suite with a cute balcony, really spacious, and the fire made it feel super cozy. I loved the minibar with fresh milk—no UHT nonsense! Dinner was a treat with a fab wine list. Just wish the bar closed a bit later!

The charcuterie was excellent, but the steak lacked flavor.

Each morning's breakfast was a local feast of homemade goodies, making it the perfect way to start my day!

This place was just a good match for a little getaway in Painswick with very good value for money. The staff were exceptional, especially Jacov, who made our stay feel welcoming. Make sure to take a stroll in the beautiful gardens.

We relished our stay. The ambience was inviting with a lovely log fire, and dining brought delight with a standout beef Wellington. For a high-end venue, prompt bar service would enhance the experience. Suggest requesting wine on the table for self-service ease.

we had a lovely breakfast at the hotel! the full english was well cooked, and the coffee was excellent. we felt very welcomed, even though we weren't guests. the wooden floor and comfortable seating made the place inviting. i liked the ambiance a lot. definitely returning for dinner soon!
